A hard one.
I think it depends on the context. Nakedness in the some contexts isn’t particularly sexy, and can be rather clinical (say, in the context of a, um, clinic). Sometimes I’m far more turned on by a clothed woman, because the clothing suggests something to me that I find erotic.
Which doesn’t immediately address your question, but tries to point out this is hard. synthetic pubes asked a similar question a while back.
For me, there’s a definitely bias towards thinner and fitter bodies, and perhaps there’s a healthy dose of cultural (societal) influence on that.
I can agree to that. I’m not particularly proud of that.
However, fitness in particular and thinness by virtue of being related also suggest a certain about of control and discipline in one’s life (particularly as one gets older and it takes more work to stay in reasonable shape), and I find that attractive, too. Someone who can take the time to work out and manage what they eat is likely to take similar thought and care about other things. It’s superficial, but it’s what we have to go one.
Clues. And unreliable clues at that.
Being thin and fit doesn’t promise anything, but it hints at things. The converse is true, too. i wouldn’t avoid someone solely on account of body type. But I factor it in.
Maybe I rationalizing my lazy habit of following cultural norms, but I do believe that our reactions are more subtle, more primitive, and more informative than merely responding to external conditions.

an issue that has always been of great curiosity to me is that of men’s opinions on the female body. society has attempted to make us females feel that we must be thin and fit to attract the male population, but i am quite sure that this is not true because, for any topic, opinions vary.
i’ve wondered how men felt about the female body; if you see a naked woman, what is the first thing that you think of? “oh, gross, fat” or “awesome, boobs” are the two thoughts i would imagine would come up, but i would rather get some direct opinions on the matter.
