the start of a beautiful ______ship
today, i got to thinking about relationships and what is entailed in their making.
when you start dating someone, what is it about them that makes you want to continue to spend time with them? is it just their looks? or, maybe, the potential of presents? (materialism rules.) perhaps, i should hope a majority of the answers include personality.
after thinking about this, when do you decide that the playful banter and flirtation, with the potential of hand-holding and kisses, should slide into a relationship? when do you feel the need to use titles like “boyfriend” and “girlfriend”? is it once you know in your heart that you no longer have eyes for others that you hope are waiting in the wings? or, maybe, it is because you feel that you need this person near to you more often than not.
regardless, when do you feel the tables turn and the floors shift?
